Church which imparted spiritual knowledge in the bygone years got transformed into a temple of learning where the young ones thronged to gather knowledge.
That was the humble beginning of this home of letters in1888 as European Church School with 32 students under the South Indian Railway during the British period and recognized as a Mixed Middle school in 1894. Admissions were restricted to Europeans in the beginning. Indians were admitted only in1953. The school was upgraded as a High school in1981.
This alma mater has been serving the cause of education chiefly to cater the needs of the wards of the Railway employees for the past 130 years.
This temple of learning has been shaping the students to acquire knowledge of various discipline, to learn to socialize with their peer groups and to inculcate the best virtues to become the best individual in the future.
The school follows CBSE syllabus for classes I to X . It ensures all students to reach their full potential in academics, discipline , responsibility and integrity.

Hence the school has produced a spectacular result in X board consecutively for the past seven years, including previous three batches of students in All India Secondary School Examination under CBSE stream with the ceaseless efforts of the teachers.
