Ensconced in the lap of Goddess Sree Bhuvaneswari, this school, started in 1973 is situated on the eastern side of the famous Kurattikkadu Pattambalam Devi Temple not far away from the holy Pampa river, in Mannar Panchayath of Alappzuha District. The institution is owned and run by the Sree Bhuvaneswari Educational and Charitable Trust. The seven trustees, including the President are elected by the General body meeting periodically. The day to day affairs of the school are managed by the School Managing Committee consisting of the Manager, the Secretary and the two other members elected for a three year term. The President of the Trust is also the President of the School Managing Committee. The entire responsibility of the school rests with the Managing committee. The general body meets twice a year and takes decisions on policy matters. The school is financed by fees collected from students and donations received from well wishers.This institution follows the CBSE syllabus from Std I to X. It imparts quality education to all, irrespective of caste, creed, religion or language, including the less advantaged sections of society. The school strives to live up to its motto “Wisdom love, Service and Universal brotherhood” that have been part of the ancient Indian culture.
The school functions with the active support and financial assistance given by the Trust. School buses are plying for the convenience of the students. About 80% of the students make use of the service.
