The educational institution runs under Coimbatore Educational and Cultural Foundation Trust (CECFT) headed by the dynamic Managing Trustee and Secretary Shri.T.P.Ramachandran. Under the umbrella Sankara Polytechnic College was established in 1983 and Sankara College of Science and Commerce was established in 1991.
