Army Institute of Law (AIL) was established in 1999 under the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). Initially located in Patiala, it shifted to Sector 68, Mohali in 2003. The institute was inaugurated by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the then President of India. AIL is known for its moot court competitions, legal research, and strong placement opportunities
