GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE, CHEKKANURANI (GPTCC) started in the year 2013 by Government of Tamilnadu situated in an expansive campus area adorned with beautiful hilly surroundings. It is located on the Madurai to Theni main road reachable within 2 km from Chekkanurani bus stand. It aims to offer good education to the nearby village students to develop their technical knowledge and skills. It is a co-educational institution with around 400 students studying in the campus that offers a holistic learning environment with disciplinary values.
