Government Women’s Polytechnic College, Bhopal plays a vital role in producing top class technicians and entrepreneurs tuned to the demands of a fast changing industrial sector. Started in 1964, it is the first Polytechnic in the State imparting employment oriented technical education exclusively to women. It has contributed meaningfully towards contemporary women technical education through the various diploma and post diploma programmes approved by AICTE and State Government under the aegis of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya.
