About
Mahamaya Technical University was established in February 2010 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh during the BSP regime. It was created to improve the management of technical education in the state.
In 2013, MTU was merged with Gautam Buddh Technical University to form a unified entity known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), aiming to streamline technical education governance in the state.
